Board Communique November 2019

The Board of Principals Australia Research Foundation (PARF) met in Melbourne recently and resolved to accept the proposed new logo, as depicted on this communique.

The Board endorsed the Research and Development Funding Guidelines and Application Form.  These documents were released at the APPA National Conference and made available to the Australian Secondary Principals Association. All incorporated principal associations are invited to apply. The funding guidelines and application form can be requested be emailing admin@parf.org.au A Research Funding Panel will be established to assess applications and recommend projects to the PARF Board for funding.  Research and development funding applications close 22 November 2019.

The Board ratified the PARF Investment Policy and process for investing funds. A new website is currently under construction for the Research Foundation.

An important agenda item was the upcoming Annual General Meeting and the necessary annual statements required. The Board has also moved a resolution for constitutional changes that will better reflect the nature and direction of the company.

The Board looks forward to receiving applications for research funding, with an announcement to be made in early 2020.
